Gorilla Tracking takes you to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park, home to the highest population of mountain gorillas in the world. The tracking entails hiking in Uganda’s oldest and virgin forest which is also home to over 90 various plant species and 400 birds. The trip starts and ends in Uganda.

Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest park
Upon your arrival at the airport, the driver guide will pick up and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest a home to the mountain gorillas. In Mbara stop over at Igongo cultural centre for lunch and relief; proceed to Bwindi – takes you 8 hours to reach the national park. Dinner and overnight at Bakiga lodge/Gorilla mist Camp
Day 2: Gorilla trekking Adventure
0630 hours Breakfast transfer to the national park headquarters for briefing. At 0800 hours you will be transferred to the trekking starting point and follow various trails in the forest in search of gorillas (2-6 hours) a true moment of experience is gathered though.On reaching the gorillas take time to observe them on their behaviours as you take photographs (1 hour) with them there. Descend back to forest lodge in the evening visit the Batwa pygmy people, traditional forest dwellers who will demonstrate to you their forest life. Dinner and overnight at the forest lodge.
Day 3: Drive back to Kampala
Transfer back to Kampala, on the way brief stop at the Equator for photographs connect to Entebe Airport for your flight or drop at Kampala hotel.

We travel to Queen Elizabeth national park for game viewing and boat cruises at Kazinga channel, forest walk in Bwindi Impenetrable forest and gorilla trekking. Itinerary details
Day 1: Breakfast transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
which take roughly 7 hours to arrive for lunch. Check in to the lodge, refresh and go for an evening boat cruise at Kazinga channel. Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge
Day 2: Game viewing – Transfer to Bwindi forest
Early morning game drive in QE national park to see herds of elephants,lions,buffalos, Uganda kobs, impalas,waterbucks, warthogs and hippos among others. Have late breakfast at your lodge and wait for hot lunch. In the evening drive through Ishasha to Buhoma sector north of Bwindi forest national park. Dinner and Overnight at Bwindi Lodge/Mahogany springs lodge
Day 3: Gorilla tracking
Early wake up, breakfast and with packed lunch transfer to the park headquarters for briefing about gorilla trekking. Hiking into the jungle for the allocated gorilla family starts at 0800 hours all the way up into the forest. Hiking time depend on the location of the gorilla family and their movements. Once sighted it can last as short or as long as an hour to fulfil a day’s trekking Overnight at the Bwindi forest lodge
Day 4:
After morning breakfast, check out of the lodge and transfer to the park headquarters in Buhoma. Start off the forest walk right from park hadquarters in Buhoma to Nkuringo sector. Buhoma Nkuringo Trail is 6 hours depending on the speed and physical fitness of traveller. You will meet different species of birds, butterflies,animals and local people in the forest. Remember to come with hiking boots for easy movement on the slippery muddy grounds; also bring rain jackets for the unexpected rain and unpredictable forest weather conditions. Driver will wait for you at Nkuringo for transfer to Mgahinga gorilla national park. Dinner and overnight at Gahinga lodge.
Day 5: Batwa Cultural Experience and Caldera walk
After early breakfast you will meet the local forest dwellers – Batwa people for cultural show case this will take you through the traditional forest life, medicinal herbs in the jungle and perform a traditional dance. Return to the lodge for hot lunch and some rest. Later in the afternoon have a walk to the caldera to get a panoramic of the Virunga Volcanoes, local communities and activities around. Dinner and overnight at the Gahinga lodge.
Day 6: Transfer back to Kampala
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and get transferred back to Kisoro – Kabalae – Mbarrara – Masaka to Kampala
