Tropical Delight Homemade Ice Cream

Traveling down highway 192 about 5 miles east of Disney World, Mrs. LanceAround and I are instantly blinded by a little, hot pink building with yellow cut. But what really catches my eye is the indication saying, Homemade Ice Cream.”

Inside we match Noelia Scharon, owner of Tropical Pleasure Homemade Snow Cream. Noelia just moved here from Kennett Square, PA where a magazine proclaimed her glaciers cream because the Best of Philadelphia 2009.” She clarifies that she had to escape the winter, so she relocated to the Disney region.

Some of you might recognize Kennett Square, PA because the mushroom capital of the world.” And, yes, as well as the common flavors of vanilla, delicious chocolate and strawberry, Noelia makes a mushroom flavored snow cream! She also makes avocado, tamarind, rice pudding along with a sweet corn enhanced with chili powder.

I purchase a scoop of toasted coconut along with a scoop of peanut butter. Mrs. LanceAround gets one scoop of her favorite-pistachio. The charge is only $5 for both. The glaciers cream is definitely primo-sweet, creamy and delicious.

Noelia displays Mrs. LanceAround a fresh tamarind

We are going to leave when Noelia discusses how she makes from scratch. She holds up a tamarind plus some limes and proudly shows her glaciers cream machine from Mexico. I cannot resist anymore, therefore i get yourself a quart of rice pudding along with a mango sorbet pop for vegan #2# 2 child. Noelia throws in another quart of pistachio for Mrs. LanceAround at no cost.

I pay out another $9.25 and prepare to leave.

Have you got a plastic material spoon?” Noelia asks.

I have a spoon.” I reply.

Is it plastic?” she asks again. I give her a quizzical appearance. Metal spoons have an effect on the taste of the snow cream.” she offers.

Even stainless steel spoons? asks Mrs. LanceAround?

Noelia nods her mind and I claim, You are a true glaciers cream aficionado!” using a smile on my encounter.

This week’s new flavors: Pumpkin, Carrot Cake, Nutella ice cream

While home in Fresh England, where glaciers cream is ruler, I googled ‘homemade snow cream orlando’ and found this short article. I consider myself an glaciers cream connoisseur, and have fond memories of the cone of avocado snow cream in Mexico Town a long time ago. Our initial stop in the Orlando area was Tropical Delight. Many surprise tastes to add avocado!! A fresh aspect in ‘meals for the soul’.

On our second visit, we met LanceAround who was simply also sampling the wares.

Thanks for the end, LanceAround!
