Transporting on with my light-hearted pup theme, I made a decision to call it Chocolate POMerdoodle Snow Cream because well, you know … Chocolate Lab, Chocolate Poodle … and of course you like chocolate. Adding only a little bit of cocoa adds richness and depth to the ice cream, especially if you utilize a high-quality cocoa. I used Scharffen Berger cocoa, which I’d received in my BlogHer Food swag. I love both that cocoa and POM Great pomegranate juice and I really like this glaciers cream. This recipe is both gluten free and dairy free. It’s not refined sugar free, but I really believe you could skip the dark brown sugar and simply use 2/3 cup honey, maple syrup, or agave nectar and end up with an similarly delicious, dairy-free glaciers cream. (I wouldn’t use a one-to-one swap due to the liquid content material of those substances.)

<p>½ cup POM Wonderful pomegranate juice</p>
<p>2 ½ to 3 tbsp ScharffenBerger cocoa (or other good quality cocoa, total taste-once mixed in, of course)</p>
<p>Mix all together in a large mixing dish or blender.</p>
<p>Add to glaciers cream maker.</p>
<p>Churn about 20 a few minutes until firm.</p>
<p>You may remove ice cream from ice cream maker and shop in freezer for  <a href=quiche ohne ei more firmness, if needed. This recipe is not processed sugars free, nevertheless, you can use coconut sugars rather than light brown glucose. Or I believe you could skip the brown sugar and simply use ⅔ cup honey (or the same amount of agave nectar) and end up with an equally delicious, dairy-free glaciers cream. (I wouldn’t work with a one-to-one swap because of the liquid content material of honey or agave.)
